Historical landmark designation for Phebe and John Gray House at 4362 W Grace St
Kathleen E. Dickhut, Deputy Commissioner of the City of Chicago's Department of Planning and Development, has recommended to City Clerk Anna M. Valencia that the Phebe and John Gray House at 4362 West Grace Street be designated a Chicago Landmark. The property's significant features include all exterior elevations and rooflines, but exclude the garage at the northeast corner. The recommendation, backed by the Commission on Chicago Landmarks and including a proposed ordinance, will be introduced to the City Council of the City of Chicago. If approved, the property will be officially designated a landmark, a plaque will be created, and the ordinance will take effect upon its passage and approval.
