Intergovernmental agreement with Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning regarding Economic Impact Analysis of transportation improvements considering location, walkability, multimodal safety and connectivity for all users when considering commercial expansion
Under the 1970 Constitution of the State of Illinois, Chicago's Department of Transportation (CDOT) is funding an Economic Impact Analysis with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), established by the Regional Planning Act. The $9,000 contribution comes from any legal source. The Commissioner of Transportation, with the City’s Corporation Counsel's approval, can execute the intergovernmental agreement (Exhibit A), overriding conflicting Municipal Code provisions. The ordinance is effective upon approval.
