Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson seeks City Council approval for an ordinance authorizing an intergovernmental agreement with the Board of Education. The Planning and Development Commissioner proposed the ordinance, allocating TIF funds from the 53rd Street Redevelopment Project Area for Kenwood Academy High School improvements. The agreement, initially $9,200,000, is now amended to $13,950,000, subject to approval by the Corporation Counsel.
